Office Manager
It has been more than two decades since Tammi aka “Tamara” arrived at Star Lake and she still enjoys being at camp. Rarely in the forefront, just know that her administrative hand is at work in the background ensuring that the campers and staff have everything they might need to make their time at Star Lake successful and timeless.
Camp Director & Assistant Director of Operations
“The Baron of Whitfield” has served at Star Lake Camp in some capacity since 1992. Baron has his B.S. in Organizational Leadership and his M.S. in Special Education. He is a seasoned veteran when it comes to working, leading, and developing young people. As a disciple of Jesus, the thing that he feels that draw him most to camp are the moments where he can be used to help people make a connection to God, each other, and nature. Baron is a certified archery instructor (Level 2), youth mental health first aider (YMHFA), leave no trace trainer (LNT) and an American Camp Association visitor. He is an avid reader, lover of music and master storyteller. Most will say that he is cool, calm, collective and he adds, the best comedic talent on camp (despite what Tammi says!). A sought-after expert in experiential education and teambuilding in 2016, Baron launched “Go Different, LLC” where he facilitates community, and team building. Together with his wife of 28 years they have two children – and they all love camp!
Fun Fact: Baron prefers watching movies with subtitles.

Divisional Youth Secretary
In his teenage years, Clifford found his place in the creative arts. As he grew older, he became passionate about working with the youth and helping them develop their God-given gifts and talents. Clifford moved from Guyana, South America, in 2015 and spent that summer volunteering at camp, teaching dance, character-building skills, and sharing the love of God. From that summer on, Clifford’s love for camp grew, leading him to volunteer one week each summer to work with kids at Star Lake. Camp holds a special place in his heart since it was at Star Lake Camp that God confirmed his path to ministry. Years later, Clifford became part of the team that provides oversight of our wonderful camp, and he is eager to see how God is going to use him to make a difference in the lives of the campers who come each summer.
Fun facts: Clifford enjoys traveling and seeing the world. He hopes to take the experiences he learns from his travels to further God’s kingdom.
